Face into your emotions with an attitude of Acceptance

Identify what is this emotion?

Where is it in my body?

Can I intuitively describe it? does it have a shape, a colour or particular texture?

Then name it: “This is sadness” or “This is despair” or “This is annoyance” or whatever it is

Acknowledge that the emotion is there

Accept it

Allow it to be

Breathe into it with some deep breaths

Wonder about: What is behind the emotion? What has set it off?

Let go of the need to control the emotion. Let it flow and move. Allow what unfolds.
